I have browsed support articles and done a forum search and can not find a topic.

I am unable to get Under a Killing Moon running in fullscreen. When launched from the dekstop shortcut, it goes into fullscreen for a moment of black screen, then drops into windowed.

I have experimented with changing the "output=" settings in dosboxtex3.conf and the Graphic mode setup.exe values. Neither resolves this issue.

This is similar to an issue I had with Gabriel Knight - Sins of the Fathers, but that had a crash and was resolved by changing the output= to ddraw. That solution was attempted here and failed to change the behavior. In fact, that was the default value. But Graphic mode setup.exe was defaulted at Surface.

Edit: Apparently I wanted to make this a question, but forgot to look for the option.

if you are only getting windowed in movement mode pressing alt+enter tells dos box to go full screen & then set the uakm config panel under movement mode to 640x480 that gives me full screen on a 22 widescreen monitor. to run dos box with changing the keys edit dos box config file to full screen = true
I don't own Gog's UAKM. I bought Pandora Directive from them, and pinched their conf file, editing it in the autoexec section to run my copy of UAKM on my mac with mac dosbox.

Here's the relevant bits from my conf

[sdl]
fullscreen=true
fulldouble=false
fullresolution=original
windowresolution=original
output=Surface
autolock=true
sensitivity=100
waitonerror=true
priority=higher,normal
mapperfile=mapper.txt
usescancodes=true

[dosbox]
language=
machine=vga
captures=capture
memsize=16

[render]
frameskip=0
aspect=false
scaler=normal2x

[cpu]
core=auto
cycles=max
cycleup=500
cycledown=20

[autoexec]
#stuff about mounting drives, I'll skip this
c:
cd Moon
cls
set dos4gvm=
tex197.exe %1 %2 %3 %4
exit

I use tex197 because Its the last patch released for the title.
And from my UAKM config.ini
