Hi
Am I the only one who is a little thrown off by Tex's 7-year dark side. I just can't believe the lovable goof-ball would turn into a man who conspires with either mercenaries who wipe out whole installations of people, scientists lopping off people's heads, or scientists who torture mutants in their pursuit of Teslan Utopia. That isn't the Tex Murphy I knew from the previous games.
Could Tex be duped by bad guys temporarily, maybe. could he be seduced by a femme fatale, absolutely. However if you say can Tex Murphy become a cold-blooded vigilante turned soul-less betrayer... there I say No sir, not the Tex I knew.
Now if there is a sequel to Tesla Effect (I'm all for it BTW) maybe this 7 years of Evil-Tex, JT Donnelly, White Guard stuff can be explained and hopefully ring true to the Tex of old.
Anyway that was rant.
