"We have heard the Terraria Community's cries to bring back the versions of Terraria from long long ago for many years now. Frankly, we appreciate the nostalgia as much as anyone, but to say that the daunting task of trying to remove 13 years of content from the game has held us back from doing so would be a massive understatement!

That being said, we are pleased to share with you all that starting today, the Terraria Undeluxe Edition is available for fans everywhere to enjoy!"
I've requested it on Steam forums too.
I think they could release it here as Free DLC for Terraria owners, because on Steam, to play it, you can activate a 'beta program' version download to get it, and we do not have it here.

Created a Community Wishlist.
Vote for it if you will. :)

..and my post on Steam Discussions:

"Terraria Undeluxe Edition - Good Old Games store release, simply a need. :)

What's not to love in an Outdated version on a store called Good Old Games? :P haha.. to the topic.

Hello Re-Logic! Thanks for the "outdate"!
Really fun way to shake things up and remember the good ol' Terraria days for pure nostalgia.

As an owner of Terraria on both Steam and GOG, and a lover of this amazing fun game, having played it both alone for countless hours and with friends too, I'd like to kindly ask that you guys release the "outdate" also on GOG, as a Free DLC (because of how GOG's Store function) so that all players from all stores can enjoy this masterpiece in its humble, but still very fun, beginnings.

Thank you very much and good luck!
Keep dig'n'it!"
I've played it myself on Steam because I also own it there and its fun, though the QoL features we are used to in 1.4.4.9 are missed indeed. haha

Thanks for sharing :D

And yes, I thought that having offline installers meant having offline installers for every version... Nope, too bad. But that means you would have bought it back then and downloaded every new version since.
I wish it would've been archived or something...

Yeah...
What I did to preserve my Steam "Undeluxe" edition was download all the files from Steam Beta branch and turn it drm-free with community tools, and then 7z'p it for later use.

I don't think this version will come to GOG ever, unfortunately.
