Hello,

My game autoupdated, and now I can't play it at all, because everything takes ages.

One machine is a quad-core laptop w 16GB ram, another one is a dual-core media-center with 4GB, before it ran perfectly together with some a browser playing a video and other stuff, now it just won't run, and the System Resource manager doesn't show it being any more significantly processor or memory-intensive.

Can't run even on lowest graphics settings....

Help!
Turn off automatic updates and play an older version.
What resolution are you playing at?

Ive no issues myself on a laptop with an intel HD 5500, but ive seen plenty of posts about this on the Steam discussions.

Apparently the resolution is now locked to 1920x1080, and most of those complaining about lag seem to be running at a higher screen resolution than that (ie 4k).

Maybe worth fiddling with?

EDIT: seems restarting the computer is working for some: https://steamcommunity.com/app/105600/discussions/0/3606765810638385820/

Oh, sorry, I forgot to mention this - both fullscreen and windowed have lag, and the lag is only slightly worse on fullscreen 1920x1080, compared to windowed 800x1040, I'm usually playing it on.

Didn't work for me.

There may have been a concomitant issue with a Norton Antivirus update, that I've provisionally removed.

I'll update as soon as I'm done cleaning those...
