Halloween & Christmas/December are the two that have ingame events for now.

You'd think the bunnies wouldn't go for a costume that may get them killed.

Terraria is a life. I've built a house and planted countless trees! Oh, ravens. It's always dark when they show up and make me hide in my floating bunker so I couldn't quite tell.

UFO! AhHa! For a second there I thought it was dressed as a Pokemon ball.

Halloween event happens every Oct. 20th to November 10th and the Xmas event happens every Dec. 15th to 31st and during Xmas event you can summon the Frost Legion, get Santa as a NPC and mobs drop presents, during Halloween mobs dress up in costums and NPCs sell seasonal gear for example I bought a Guy Fawkes mask from the Clother. Note: the game does not have to be in the Halloween or Xmas events to start the Pumpkin or Lunar Moons events those can be triggered all year around so long as your in Hardmode.
