Could't get the strafe buttons (z and c) to a and d buttons. Just refused for some reason.

I'm running into the same issue with the DOSBox Mapper. I've also noticed remapping a key to another key causes Terra Nova to do 2 functions at once. Is there a way to fix this?

Read it again (Examples section): You need to unmap the old key as well.
