I played the original game and now the gog version. In the original game, you can read a full psychological profile after completing the game. It seems that this is not possible in the gog version? Or did i miss something?

Same with me, no profile pops up and there seems to be no way to view it.
More and more I am under the impression that this is a port of the ios version, which in itself is a port of the Video DVD version and NOT the PC version. Therefore the mentioned feature above is missing and the 3d exploring of the rooms is missing as well. Rather disappointing.

Agreed. I didn't know what I was getting when I bought this game because I had never played the original. But now that people who have played the original version are starting to tell what parts are missing or degraded in this new version, I am more and more disappointed with what I got. Good old games my ass. This site used to take pride in preserving old games by enshrining them as downloadable purchases on their website, complete, unabridged, and in all their original glory. Now they don't give a fuck about that anymore. Oh well, I guess I'm going on eBay and spend $40 on the big box version.
One of the major sellpoints of the game is not in this version. That's... disappointing to put it politely.
It actualy ruined the end of the game for me.
Are there any IP problems preventing the publisher from making the superior original version available to us GOG owners?

Also, was the discussed final assesment worth it? The notes in the psychological profile accessible during gameplay seemed pretty obvious, although with that amount of information given by the player it makes me wonder if the creators actually came up with something interesting that actually added in some way to the experience, if not the story itself.

And in what way did the exploration segments differ? Feels strange to ask so much questions, but I can't find any footage of them on the web - only let's plays from the DVD version where that part of "gameplay" looks pretty much the same.

Yeah they'd probably have to gain the rights to whatever other versions there are for them to host them here.
so was the finale personality profile a cumulative profile of all the questions or just a quick 4 response like all the rest? shame really, i wanted to see the finale profile
I guess my end was missing as well - that feels disapointing.
