Hello everyone, I'm playing my first run with Temple + installed and I enjoyed all new features so far...until my favored soul character gained enough exp to reach lvl 8. I can't lvl up because there aren't enough lvl 0 spells (hylarious, they're almost useless at this point!), lvl up demands the choice of a new lvl 0 spell to accomplish. I'm stuck. The only thing I can do is picking a different class, a nuisance because I haven't planned it on that character.
Has anybody found the same bug? Any solution?
Thanks in advance.

Hi,

you'll be able to continue the levelup despite having a hole in the level 0 spells. Just pick spells for the other levels and the Finish button should change state.

Thanks for your reply Cattletech but I can't click the Finish button without filling the lvl 0 spells hole. Finish button isn't highlighted (= is still red), nothing happens clicking it. Is an interface problem, you can't level up leaving feats unselected or skill points for next level up, same for spell slot.

Are you sure? There is code in there that specifically addresses this issue, and I've also tested it myself. You just need to fill in the other spell levels.

Filling the other spell slots is what I did first. Didn't work, sorry.
I'd post a screenshot but I don't know how to take it (shame on me!).

Does it let you select level 4 spells? I think the code checks for that bedore allowing you to skip selecting cantrips. If not I'm guessing your spellcasting stat (wis or cha, I forget which one) might be too low for that.

You are correct, I just checked the manuals and found I meesed up with spellcasing stats (a bit tricky for favored souls). I thought Wisdom allows spellcasting and Charisma sets spells DC. My bad, I'd have checked it before; in fact it's the opposite.

I'll let you know if everything works on next characters. Thanks a lot!

Note - You can edit yiur char's stats using the Dungeon Master feature (or console commands).
