Hi, another quick question. Healer's kits - what do they do and how?
I presume they enable me to use the Heal skill. Right? Every time I try they don't go into any slot. Do I have to equip a healer's kit in a character slot like thieves' tools or just have them in my inventory? Even if I right click I get the message that there is no room, no matter the character. This is in the beginning of the game in that hall where you buy equipment. What do I need to do with those kits? Do I even need them at all?
Many thanks.

The Healer's Kit provides +2 to Heal, when carried in your inventory.
And yes, you need/want to have them.

Early game, you'll have your characters clobbered and "dying" in every other fight.
You definitely want to succeed in healing attempt and stabilize them so they don't die,
and rather not take many turns to do it.
Thank you both.
So just to recap, I don't need to equip them, just have them in the inventory of the character who does the healing. And put points into the skill, of course.
Right?

Yes, right.
The same applies to the Scholar's Kit (+2 bonus to Spellcraft), too.
