If i play the game using the CO8 mod, will activating the option to allow for level 20 make the game be too easy towards the end?

Surely, you will need to go past level 10 if you are using all that extra content that CO8 provides, but i am concerned that i will lose interest in completing the game as i will become overly powerful near the end game, as the original game balance will be out of kilter...

I have never found TOEE that easy with the CO8 content and level cap. With experience you will learn which spells and skills you will rely on more and be able to roll through some battles that previously had been a real pain. If the die rolls don't go your way though or you get too cocky in dealing with mobs things can get very prickly.

Why not limit yourself to the original five member party of the original? You will be able to pick up NPC adventurers to help you out and kick them out if you do find the game lacks a challenge once you hit the temple.
