Hi all - I am loving Temple+ and Co8 to this diamond in the rough of a game.

For Hickory Branch, I've killed the lich but I cannot for the life of me find his phylactery. On Co8 someone had once posted the 12 possible locations for the tiny object, but the link to the map doesn't work anymore and Google can't find me it anywhere.

Does anyone have the 12 locations or the map? I can make out about 8 of the locations from the tiny thumbnail on the co8 forums, but in my game it must be in one of the other 4 locations, sadly!

It's been too long since I played TOEE to answer your question definitely. But I always found Gontzol's walkthrough posted on the Co8 website to be quite thorough. You might check there.

IIRC isn't there a key-combo that highlights any interact-able objects on screen? A phylactery is normally worn, so I would have thought it would be found on the body...

According to this post, no can do on the phylactery:

The phylactery does not highlight when you hold down the Tab key. As far as I am aware, your characters' Search and Spot skills have no affect what-so-ever on finding the phylactery. I had the exact same problem as you. I went to all 12 possible locations but couldn't see the damned thing. The phylactery is a tiny object. You'll just have to persevere and keep going back to each of the 12 possible locations until you finally manage to notice the tiny object with your eyes/brain.

As for the locations: see attached the original map from the walkthrough

Edit: the forum went haywire with the URLs, and it's not the first time it has happened to me... <sigh>
