I can't seem to be able to. I can finish the tutorial but the game then locks up a few seconds later while on the map view sometimes, and the UI disappears (except for the health, hull and money bars), and then the ship won't move. Trying to make the UI appear/disappear via backquote button does not work.

The achievement also fails to unlock... game seems really buggy,

The tutorial works perfectly for me on Win7, 64 bit. However I have to say I completed the tutorial 3 times to understand everything. But now I dominate the NPCs thanks to that.
