I have a 21:9 monitor. Clicking full screen detects the resolution properly and the game appears to display properly... but the menu HUD overlaps the menu options (See screenshot)

Any fixes?

I ran across a Steam discussionthat noted a Hex edit to fix it.. but I'm not that advanced.
