Had a weird shutdown, and I know the CPU wasn't overheating. VSYNC enabled to 60fps. At a loss. Will leave the pc running to see if it's another issue, but I don't think so.

I'll leave my pc running all day. Wont play the game (my day off as well) and will update. Pretty sure it's the game though. It crashed while I was in the opening dungeon, at the shrine with the red priest mural on the wall.

This is why I don't buy games at launch. Would be nice to get through it (as it seems fantastic) without it destroying my PC. Game settings were on medium.

Edit 1: PC running fine for 1hr 30min after shutdown. 30 to 32 oC at idle.

Edit 2: It probably was overheating. Opened the PC, cleaned dust, set graphics to low, have a steady 42oC on the game. Same area. PC running fine all day. All graphic settings off, Nvidia & game settings capped to 60FPS, threaded optimisation on.

I can run Cyberpunk on high settings. I think this game needs optimising.

Edit 3: Running the game on the offline installer V0.65. Thought that was a bit funny. Maybe V1.0 is better. GOG isn't doing games any favours releasing them like this. I know GOG Galaxy is great and all that, but all it did was harrass me with updates when I installed it. So my first impressions of this game are from a pre-relase version.

Edit 4: So the offline installer is actually V1.0. This means either my PSU is about to croak (15 years old) or there's a issue as the game stated with AMD CPUs. I'm running it on the lowest settings, and I'm monitoring temps. Capped at 30FPS. I'm going to replace my PSU, but everything else on my PC is less than a year old.

I can also run Cyberpunk on high settings without issue so I'm thinking it's the game.

Just typing this for the devs if they read this as it seems nobody else has this issue/cares. ???.

Oh. Just found out this game uses the Unity engine. Suddenly a lot of things make sense.

Latest update: It's the game. Waiting on a patch.
