I think GOG should put this on sale.
Many people would be encouraged to buy here instead of Steam!

Pretty sure the sales are dictated by the publisher. In this case Night Dive is making money if you buy from Steam or GoG. I get what you're saying, but really they're both the same price now. So I don't think price is the swaying factor right now, one way or the other.

I didn't know that there was a relation between sales and publishers.
I thought it was a choice of the site (GOG, Steam, Gamersgate etc...)

GOG is cheaper for Europeans since it's 10 euros on Steam and 10 dollars (7.75 euros) on GOG.

Any chance it will be a daily deal?

I'm 99% certain it won't be, because all the daily deals for this summer sale were put up yesterday (to celebrate the longest day of the year) and SS2 was not part of it. So $5 looks like the cheapest it'll be during this sale.
