I just thought it would be a nice gesture to make a thread dedicated to thanking those that were able to obtain System Shock 2 for us. Thank you to Stephen Kick, Night Dive, and especially GOG for your efforts to bring this game out of limbo so that all of us, fans and new comers alike, can enjoy it. Let them know your gratitude and welcome aboard the Von Braun soldiers.

Over the past ... what, six years now? we've been waiting for this one.

I was there when you launched with the entire Fallout and Freespace spread, brought Torment, and so many other great games. This last achievement is a testament to GOG's devotion to its trade.

Thank you, everyone who was involved in this. I've been stalking everything about SS2, from the plot on wikipedia to design to critiques to Let's Plays not on YouTube for a while now. I am ecstatic I can finally get to experience this game, especially since I am a big survival horror fan.

Thank you guys, you really outdid yourself. This game, along with Planescape Torment, are in my opinion the two best games on this site, and it's fantastical that new, younger audiences will get the chance to try them.
