I have seen reports that the Steam version runs great under Linux, but I can't get the GOG version to run under either Lutris or Heroic Games Launcher.

I have tried the latest version of Wine and Proton/ GE but I have no luck so far and neither the dependencies nor the Wine Logs give any useful hints on how to get it running properly.
My system is not exactly optimised for games, so that might also be the issue:
Linux distribution: Mint 22.1
CPU: i5-1135G7
GPU: Iris XE as feature of the CPU.
32GB RAM

Many games run without a hitch.
This game does not ( at least not on my system ).

Any help is appreciated.
I have a similar setup. I'm going to get the game while it's on sale but being on Mint and using Heroic, I'm wondering if there's any hope at the moment.

I'm a backer of the System Shock remake.
I'll contact Night Dive via Kickstarter, if they respond with a solution, I'll be sure to post it here.

edit: Done, now let's play the waiting game...
