Hi, first I love this game, played it long time ago and I am happy to have it again now. Thx gog.

But, I have the problem that the game do not load the final boss fight. I managed my way to the point where I have to jump to start the boss fight, while I am falling I can hear the message that this will be my end .... but than nothing happends. I fall until the end of the hole and stop falling in the dark on the ground of the hole without getting any damage or teleport to the final room. Using a old savegame (which starts before the last virtual level) and playing to this point again makes no different ...

Has anybody else this problem? And maybe an idea how to fix it?

Same here. Played the german version to this scene. Falling down, listening to the message of Shodan... and that's it...

I had the same bug in the german version. Maybe it is related to the mods as indicated in this thread from 2008:

Hey i've also installed the german version and got that bug, so the final bossfight doesnt load ._.
The link with the savefile from you, Big_Boss, doesnt work anymore.
Is there a way to fix the bug? In the link to systemshock.org i dont find a proper solution :(

Okay here is a way to come arround the bug:
Just install the english version from GOG.COM and copy your savefiles from the german version to the english one. Everything worked fine for me then! :)
After finishing the game with the german version i can tell you: Skip the german version and go directly to the english one. You can read every dialog, so its not that hard to understand the distorted voices and you dont have silly bugs(and no green blood, if that destroys the atmosphere for you)

I could finish the game just fine with the german version,maybe there's a problem with a missing file in the GOG release?
