The only other game I supported was Grim Dawn and I wasn't disappointed. I don't think I will be here, either. The Demo ran flawless for me. Fast download, Easy to get into and start up. Very nice. I can't wait to finally finish this game after 20 years. If you're gonna support new school on old school (or vice versa), this is the one.
I love it too...but it keeps crashing on me in the exact same spot every time I play it.
After I go down the ladder with the repair bot at the bottom and then start around the corner where the zombie is...crash.
Every.
Time.

Oh well. I'm not complaining ( really :) ) about a free demo. If the rest of the game is as cool as the demo - and I think it'll get a lot better- this will be an instant buy for me as soon as it comes out.
I had luck with the "Demo": It only crashed once. But heck, it is a pre-alpha. I think it is normal that it runs unstable ^^

What I don't like about it, is the visual style of it. I mean it is really the first System Shock, but only with better textures, high polygon count everywhere and more special Effects. The architecture of the level (as far as you can tell from the 10 minutes^^) are identical to the original version. And they try to keep it a bit "retro-style" with the pixly textures. I think a real building up from scratch would be better for it. In such a state, I go playing the original instead of a new one.

And why does it have be on kickstarter? I want the collectors edition and I don't own a credit card :,(
I hope there will be plans for othere releases of a hard copy : )
I don't have a problem with the graphics as is but at the same time I expect that they'll get better.
Truth is I've tried to play SS modded out and all but the wacky control schemes just got in the way of my enjoyment.
As cool as everything is I could never finish the game. Heck I don't think I ever got more than 1/3 through it.

I'm not trying to put anyone who loves it ( the control scheme ) as is down by saying that! If you love it great!
But I don't so I'm incredibly happy that a remake is coming.

And yeah, it's a pre alpha demo so it won't work great with all hardware and software combos. Not even fully released and patched games do. :)
WOW! Downloading now...
I hope the look & feel is similar to the original SS.
In particular, what made me feel as I really was there (a part from the age, at that time I was 17 years old or so) and I still love is the soundtrack! (and the sound effects)!
I really can't wait to try the demo!
If this feel right, this game will be mine for sure!
GOG, wow... this is a little dream coming true! :)

P.S.: Oh, I hope there will be the hacking done in virtual Cyberspace! It was so cool...

PPS - Lol, shortest experience ever for me! When the game starts I can only see a magenta screen, thought I heard the sound effects... That's a pity, I do not know where to search for support!

Yes it's very impressive and more to the point atmospheric, good audio. A couple of annoying things straight off; Medi packs for eg that you put in your quick slots, don't update when you pick up more into your inventory. You have to manually keep adding them by opening up inventory and dragging and dropping onto existing.
There's no brightness option either, had to mess about with my monitor settings.
Mine crashed after 20mins.

Also, i've got it running on my GeForce GTX660TI, which is below the minimum spec. It runs very fluid with an occasional stutter here and there but it's full playable with the Alpha 1920x1080@60

I hope they drop the 670 to the 660TI as i can play The Witcher 3, Fallout 4 etc with a mix of ultra and high.

I'll probably add more when i play more into it.
