I'm pretty much set on the following:

Navy
Year 1 - +1 Hack, +1 Str
Year 2 - + 2 Cyber Affinity

But i'm wondering about the choice between +2 End or +2 Agi. I've done a test run of both and having less agility doesn't seem to affect my character much when it comes to ranged standard weapon kickback as I can work around that, so i'm thinking of taking the +2 endurance for more survivability.

What should I go with on Hard difficulty? +2 endurance or +2 agility? Is +2 agility something I would really need early on or can I wait to upgrade it?

Edit: Though the faster movement from +2 Agi does help with evading enemies, fall damage and getting through radiation areas quickly.

+2 END ist a lot more helpful in the beginning. Also, I'd take +1 Hack instead of CYB but that's a matter of taste.

I would also recommend the +2 END. The extra HP bump will help with hard mode

So, 2 votes for +2 END. I should also mention that this will be my very first time playing though the entire game.
Be aware that Normal mode is still a challenge. Its probably the ideal difficulty for a first playthrough, and even for subsequent plays.

Sounds like you will be making a character very similar to what I always end up using- Navy with a hack/standard weapons mix. Throw in a point or two to both energy and heavy weapons at the appropriate time and you are golden. Avoid psi and exotic

Yeah, that's the build i'm going for based on what i've heard. +2 END at the start seems better based on my test plays, but I still can't shake the feeling that +2 AGI might be better because of the evasion.

The reason I decided on Hard was that i've heard it can get a little too easy later on Normal, so I wanted to make sure I get a challenge but without it being impossible.
You can always change difficulty mode while playing a campaign. The game automatically alters your health and energy reserves to reflect the change. Note that loading a savegame will change the difficulty to the level that the game was saved at.
