OK, this is a stupid question. But, it's my first game purchase on GOG and I paid for SS2, downloaded it, but how do I launch it? I can't find any button to play the game?
Thanks.
you need to run the file and install the game first.

I figured it out, not very user friendly, nice if it was more like STEAM
*facepalm*
I have to say - I don't get on the forum often but when I do... I lose all reamaining faith in humanity almost instantly xD
This is why I only visit here when someone links a thread to me. Or if something big remotely of interest to me gets released.

To some degree - maybe. Everyone should have basic knowledge of computing when they use PCs daily, not only "how to get on FB" side of things...

Let's not get hostile just because someone's new to the service, guys.
But it is fun imagining how the guy will play a very player-hostile game from the nineties with all the character-build intricacies and complex levelling stuff, after demonstrating how used to streamlined everything s/he is. I for one say we should assist the OP if more difficulties arise.

WOW you guys are really hostile. Did I not say that I figured it out and that it was my first time on GOG? You all need to take a chill pill and get on with your life. It really wasn't that bad. I was talking about navigating thru GOG menu's to get the game launched, had to download a bunch of stuff from GOG first. GEEZ LOL
Enjoy the game, though, despite the forums.

Just want to assure you that no hostility was intended from my part. I genuinly think that you will be bewildered by the game for the first several hours as it is pretty far from today's titles that have obviously been inspired by it (Dead Space for instance). I would be really interested in hearing your reactions to it and whether it managed to make an impression on you the way it did on people who played it over a decade ago.
