Title says it all. After firing a shot and changing the firing mode to normal or overdrive the game crashes.
Sometimes it doesn't crash but the gun simply disappears and you need to switch weapons to be able to use it again

are you running a GOG install? have you patched it up with the latest ss2tool? are you using any mods?

post your logs (ss2tool.log, shock2.log). crash.dmp might be useful as well.

GOG updated with SS2Tool, using SHTUP, Four Hundred, Vurt's Space, SHMUP, Earth dynamic sky,
ADaoB and ADaoB hires earth space.

Nope, installed directly on C:\

try using this version of nv script (unpack to the same folder where you have unpacked ADAOB).

I think that solved it.. Bloody good work!
