Hi, I just purchased and downloaded SS2 and it will not launch. the error message I get is Unable to locate or Load d3dx9-_43.dll

I uninstalled and redownloaded and reinstalled it, and it is not working.

Im on a laptop with a amd E 300 Apu, that more then meets the specs to play this game. Any clues. Please keep in mind im computer stupid.

Hi! I had the same problem too.
Just google "d3dx9_43.dll", download it and put it in System Shock 2 installation folder.
Otherwise installing DirectX should solve the problem as well.

downloading dlls from various dubious sites is strongly discouraged. either use ss2tool, or install the latest directx yourself - see the sticky for both.
