After the expedition 33, it inspired me and I also decided to play in Siberia. the problems are the same, you need to download the installer locally and enable compatibility with Windows 7 for the file. ghame.exe

EDIT:

Check "Run this program in compatibility mode for Windows 7"
Check "Run in 640 x 480 screen resolution"

after the failed attempt to install, this is what I did in order to install the game. download offline backup installer, Go to your local disk, click Programs Files (x86), go to GOG Galaxy, click games, Syberia, download folder, setup_syberia.

Gog "cant install" the game but is already installed so you just have to create a shortcut for the Syberia.exe or Game.exe to play it.

Having problems?

Install DirectPlay (Windows Feature), just start Syberia.exe to play.done

To fix d3d error message, download the zip from the github repository (DDrawCompat/releases) and extract ddraw.dll inside Syberia folder.
