I just downloaded Syberia and started to play, but I'm having a problem with reading documents in game - namely, I can read them, and I can scroll through them, but there appears to be no way to exit once I've started reading a letter or brochure. If it helps I have an ATI Radeon HD 4600. I've already read through the manual and tried adjusting the screen resolution with no success. What am I missing?!

When you're reading a document there should be a squared shape button with an arrow pointing up on the right bottom corner of your screen to put away the document.

Odd...I only see the zoom in and out buttoms, but then, it appears my spacing's off since part of the tourism brochure I first picked up was cut off. I was going to edit this to add that I don't seem to have the ability to leave close-ups, either, such as when I examine the inn lobby's table.

You leave close ups using the same button i mentioned above, check the attached pic.

Maybe your display is cutting something off ?

OH YEAH, my display is definitely cutting me off, then. This I'm not so sure how to fix. I've tried playing with 7-8 different screen resolutions so far, with no luck. What else can I do to fix the cutting off?
And once I played a bit more with display modes, rather than just changing the resolution, I had a lot more luck. Thank you!

You're welcome. Enjoy the game ;)
