the game used to run but recently i've been getting this error:

OS: Windows NT 6.2 (Build: 9200)

Please enable Direct3D acceleration. You can do this by starting dxdiag and enabling Direct3D Acceleration in the Display1/2 tab after installing DirectX 8.1b (or later) and the latest drivers for your graphics card.

I checked Direct3D acceleration is enabled and I do have a video card :

Windows 10
Intel i5-6600k
32gb Ram
AMD Radeon R9 390

Disgusting to not see a response from GoG themselves on this or a damn fix, I have the same problem and pinning it down is a nightmare because it's just the poor people like me who have bought it expecting it to work (as you bloody well should when you purchase any game) scrambling to figure out what exactly is wrong.

This is a smear on an otherwise amazing record GoG has with this sort of thing.

GOG doesn't do tech support in the forums. You have to contact their support department. As far as I have seen this is for us to chat about the game and to share our own knowledge about problems/fixes.

Pretty standard stuff with game companies.
