Hi,

I'm trying to play SWAT 3 with 3 friends via TUNNGLE, but something's not working.
We've opened all the ports that we need (both tunngle and swat ports) and disabled the firewall.
We find eachothers in the lan waiting room but when we open a game, one of my firend can't see it. We've tried the solution suggested in "Multiplayer Setup" thread wihout fortune. Anyone knows how to solve that problem?

there are several factors than can inhibit your ablility to host and join games.

1. Common issue is firewall - be sure you have allowed tunngle and Swat 3 to communicate thru your firewall. If you don't know how to configure it then it is best to disable the firewall(s) temporarily to allow traffic then restart tunngle. Once you have detected the firewall(s) to be the culprit, research your firewall settings, and/or router settings to allow the applications and ports.

2. If you are a new user on Tunngle, and join a room, the routing table on all pc's connected to that room have not been updated. To correct this, everyone in that room must restart tunngle for the routing table in that room to be updated. This corrects the visiblity of players in the Tunngle room and in the Swat 3 Multiplayer LAN lobby (callup screen)

Another common issue with NewTunngle users is they didn't restart their computer when prompted after the installation of TUNNGLE and the TUN/TAP adapter.

3. Another common problem is wireless connections, if the above troubleshooting steps has been performed, and YOU have a wireless connections try setting tunngle to use UPnP, under the System Tab - Options configurations. If there is no change then revert back and disable UPnP.

4. Another issue may be caused by the game that you are running, If you have Swat 3 version 1.1 to 1.4 then your version of the game doesn't have Muliplayer capabilities. Multiplayer support for lan and for the ::CLOSED:: WON servers were included in the 1.6 and up patches and versions of the game. It is best to purchase the version from GOG or download a fully patched working copy from www.swat3reunited.com.

During all these troubleshooting steps, keep an eye out for the smiley-frown-and straight face images at the bottom right corner of TUNNGLE, these wil give you an idea who is not sending or receiving packets. If you have a GREEN SMILEY FACE then you are sending and receiving packets most likely just need to update you routing table by restarting tunngle.

Sir, i join a tunngle room named swat3, then i asked the people whether they play swat3 or not there, and they said i am a loser and ask me "get the fuck out of here"

I think we better to leave our msn or skype for local coop play, what do you think?
