Has anyone been able to get a retail copy of SWAT 3 to run on Windows 10? I installed my copy and have been trying some basic fixes and did a few Google searches but I haven't found anything so I thought I'd ask here to see if anyone knows.

What is the issue? 16-Bit error? low FPS? either way I would give dgVoodoo a shot.

Seems to work for most people :)

As DarkSynopsis says please give more detail.

I assume what problem you are having is the game is crashing at startup or you get some vague error at startup. This seems to be the most common problem.

I totally agree with DarkSynopsis on how to deal with the FPS issue. dgVoodoo fixed it for me.
Well, before I was able to update the game to version 2.1 the game would flat out not open. Though, after updating and installing the Last Resort mod (Along with trying those other fixes) the game does open. I hear less than a second of audio from the opening video and it crashes with a Direct X generic error. I'd try to toggle the videos off with Last Resort, but after launching that once I get a " Run-time error '9': Subscript out of range " Isn't this a programming error? I'm confused as to how I got this error, because the first time I ran it, the program worked..

Woops, that is a coding problem that has since been fixed. Until I release the newest version of the Last Resort mod the easiest thing for you to do is put the Last Resort launcher's .exe in Windows 7 compatibility mode.

Here are better instructions:

Ah, that worked! Thank you.
For anyone else who may be looking on how to run this. Install the Last Resort mod, update your game here and run the Last Resort Launcher in compatibility mode for Windows 7.
