My game is locking up at times, particular when some type of event is about to take place such as firing on, or being fired on by an enemy, or even entering a room. It doesn't happen consistently, but I'd say maybe every 10 minutes or so. Here are my PC specs if anyone has any ideas. Thanks in advance.

Are you talking about a slight pause of about half a second? I used to get that many years ago when I played Swat 4 (mostly when the AI opened fire).

I have watched a Twitch streamer a few days ago and his game ran smoothly without that pause.

Hello!

I had this problem too, it was unplayable. My game was intalled in my E: via gog galaxy.

What i did to solve the issue was unistall the game, download directly from the gog site, and install on my C: where my OS is.

Also on Nvidia control center put everything on "Default" for Swat 4 and Swat 4 EXP. No ini modifications, playing in default 4:3.

Hope you can solve the issue, the stutttering was driving me mad.

I have this stuttering in both SWAT 4 and several other older 3D games, like Ghost Master. Never had any problems until I switched to a newer graphics card (1070), but nothing I have done have helped. Will try your sollution. Hope it works.
