I uninstalled my old components and installed the latest version. It's crashing on launch. Anyone else have this problem?

Are you on Windows 7? It seems, the update has some problems with it:

Yes, Windows 7 x64. I'm trying to respond to the thread you provided but am having problems logging in.

Thx for the link. Good to see I'm not the only one. :D
Users on ubuntu and Win10 also reporting multiple problems, including CTD as seen on win7.

They really screwed the pooch on this one. Why update it at all?
I just bought the First Colony Edition because it was on sale and as soon as it's launched I get the popup that "Surviving Mars has stopped working". I've had the base game (Evans) for quite a while and it still runs fine. I guess it's good to find out it's not me.

Hey everyone, FYI we've just released a hotfix that addresses the launch problem on Windows 7 and a few other bugs found after the latest update.

Patch notes available here: https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/threads/tourism-update-hotfix-patch-notes.1462378/

For now, it's been released only on Steam but we're working to bring it to other platforms as soon as possible.

Also:

I don't want to provide any dates that might still be moved. We're trying our best to get it out for other platforms this week, but the beginning of next week is also not out of the question.
I see a patch and updated packages have been posted. I haven't tested extensively but both seem to launch correctly, so it's looking good.

Thank-you GoG.
