This game is getting a remaster. It's going to bundle DLC + original game together into one package. They are including new content as well as a graphics upgrade. I'll let this quote from the Steam page explain:
"plus improved visuals, UI, and quality of life improvements. We’ve added the brand-new Martian Assembly update and have re-worked some of the previous additions as well."
It's not free, but original users get "a discounted price of SRP $19.99/£17.50/€19.99" (source:https://steamcommunity.com/app/3215050/discussions/0/601913251731673770/). I think they should make it free for existing users, or at least give a bigger discount. $20 USD for some spit and polish is a bit much. There's no ETA, but I'm not really sure if it is even coming to GoG in the first place. The GoG store page does not mention anything about the remaster. Paradox does have a billion titles here so I think that increases the chances a little bit. I'd give it 50/50 cupid.
