since the steam version runs through the steam network, it should not be that difficult. both versions normally have the same cost.

Personally i bought sup2 + dlc here just to support both gog and gpg, ive bought supcom1 maybe like 10 times so far over there years for both my kids and various friends. probab have still few gifts left even now. I maybe have played that and TA few hours in the past so maybe im not the average customer though.

Would be nice if they could add the multiplayer at some point, it was really dumb decision on gpg part to skip on LAN to begin with though. Really wish we got something like supcom1 again, but more modern n polished.

Is sup1 FA better than sup2?

There is VERY few thing SupCom2 did better over SupCom1. Personally I don't really like it, but still bought it again.

SupCom1 FA is superior to 2 in every way.

The only thing 2 does better is pathfinding for units, since it uses "flowfield pathfinding."

hopefully one day FAF comes to GOG, in the mean time supcom/FA can be played online using GameRanger. unfortunately at this time SC2 online doesn't look like a happening thing for GOG
