I've been messing around in superhots fake operating system wondering what the hell I am supposed to do to get the superhot.exe program to work, because every time I hit enter on superhot.exe in the fake operating system I get a flickering screen with the dial up noises, but then it freezes a few seconds later and wont launch the first level.

Just watched a full lets play and he was able to get straight in and play after hitting superhot.exe. Although his fake operating system has 2 extra directories that I don't have "levels" and "credits" and the "settings" directory is in a different place to mine.

What the hell is going on? I've been through every single directory, because i had heard the game was meta, but I can't get the actual game to start.

I saw there are quite a few people on steam with a similar issue, is it a bug?

I have the same issue. I've tried running it as administrator (obvious, but easily overlooked), rebooting the computer and re-installing the game, but nothing seems to work. It might be an issue with the OS (I'm running W8.1), but nowadays that's not very likely. I normally wouldn't mind, but this game is reeeeally expensive, so I contacted GOG support and am still waiting for a reply.
