So out of curiosity I downloaded the soundtrack for SuperFrog and wow - it's definitely not the same as what I hear in-game but in fact much better. Is it just me who has a bad MIDI interpreter in my soundcard (or whatever SuperFrog DOS uses, sorry I'm not that informed about this) or is the bonus soundtracks actually much better than in-game?

Perhaps the soundtracks are from the Amiga version? Or did you throw the notes through some synthesizer? Would love to be enlightened on this, whoever knows a little. :)

Btw thanks for the soundtracks, GOG - or Pooka!

EDIT: After a little searching I might have found the source to the soundtracks (link - "Superfrog Soundtrack (MP3)").

I played the Amiga version a lot back when i was a kid, on the Amiga 500. And the music/sound is without a doubt A LOT better on the Amiga. Maybe that's where they got the soundtrack from.
When I first heard the soundtrack I thought it was taken directly from my site, but after carefully listening to both I'm not sure any more. Sorry for suspecting you, GOG!

The MP3s I made for my site are direct conversions of the MODs, opened via a score writing program and saved as MP3. It took a while to convert them but it worked perfectly.

The MP3s on the soundtrack from GOG are, however, slightly (but only very slightly) different. However, the title music MP3 is actually a retooled version of the theme tune (you can tell by the position of the frog croak after the initial fanfare), which Allister put up on his website years and years ago. (That's also the version on my site as well - as it's a funky version!) So maybe they got the whole soundtrack from Allister too? I'd like to find out!
