Pyro, Saxton, and Zoey have been confirmed as secret characters. Since these are characters owned by Valve, does anyone know if they're playable on the GOG release? I generally prefer GOG, but Valve sometimes snags you by the balls with exclusives, see Fist Puncher's Robot Unicorn DLC.

To be honest, I don't see the fuss in valve characters. If you own the game just find out yourself; otherwise, I'll let you know in a day or so :)

Do let me know. Can't stand exclusive content. It doesn't add any value to sales and only hurts the customers rather than competitors. I'm glad GOG doesn't get involved in that pedigree of jackassery, but Valve is rife with it.

Confirmed, thanks to user Triock and GOG staff member JudasIscariot. Valve-owned secret characters are not present in any non-steam release.

ah ok. The devs said there are still 16 characters, all the game modes and so on attached to any version of the game. These 3 characters make no dent in what the game is and shouldn't sway someone from buying the game here.

The game is coming to Sony platforms and Sony Worldwide Studios CEO is going to be a exclusive character there. So I wonder - couldn't GOG try to speak with devs and ask them to make a GOG special character? :) Like G-Doc or Judas or EnigmaticT (I know he does not work for GOG anymore)
