Is there a way to level Rosalinde faster, Joseph and Flece are lv 12 she is only Lv 6.

Thanks for any help in advance :)
It balances out during the course of the game. You have to keep her protected early on, but that's not too hard because she's primarily in the background healing and casting. Later on you get a section where it's Rosalind and Jekhar (you'll get to him), and they actually then overtake the other two.

In short, apart from running over the map letting the random encounters bump your level - no. I did notice that if you head up into the really mountainous hills near lenelle then there are some encounters which, though hard, drop a few thousand XP and push you on really far, but it's probably not worth it.

Protecting Rosalind is a full time occupation throughout the game, so you might as well start practising. Just don't let her get attacked.

EDIT: btw, you are summoning your darkfire elemental before all the battles aren't you? That chap is basically your second tank until you get Jekhar.

She's about lv 13 I think now, similar to Flece and Joseph anyway, I have just finished the Iona Catacomb.

I haven't used the rings at all so far, I think I forgot cos I was running through the sewers a lot trying to power-level Ros and collect tails and trying to do quests. I have had no problems with combat so far, Flece uses a dagger n shield, Joseph uses a berserker sword and Ros uses a yew bow (to keep her distance and save mana when I don't want auto spellcasting), hardest enemy was the bloke in the catacombs but that only took maybe a half a minute I think..

I read that if the summons die Joseph loses stats permanently and that you have to fight them in the end so its better to not level them, so it doesn't seem like a good idea to level them?

Thanks for the reply :)

No, summons don't perm damage Joseph. Basically summons take a portion of Joseph's health, so if he's on 300, and you summon the darkfire elemental, you'll get that guy with 200 or so, and Joseph is down to 250 (made up numbers to illustrate the point). However when they die, Joseph gets back the potential health, but not the actual health, i.e. he is damaged to the extent of the health he lost in summoning. You should start charging up those rings. If you've not done it at all, just stick the ring of fire on and rely on the red minatour. From now on, when you get a ring, start charging it. Especially when you can summon the Blue Imp, never take that ring off.

The game is called Summoner, it's about summoning. Summon and play it, rather than hedging and missing a big part of the game. Actually, the final fight it really isn't an issue.
