The current version is 1.0.14736, with a patch from 14717. When I downloaded the game yesterday, the version was .145.. . Now there is no patch from that version to either of the two newer ones (the patch is refusing to install on that version).

So now I have to re-download the whole thing... And I really hope that this version fixes the issues I'm having, the biggest of which is that, after crashing once, the game now crashes to desktop every time I try to start it.

Gotta say, this is not a good first impression. I was looking forward to playing this. Instead, I'm spending hours troubleshooting the game.

Edit: Okay, installing version 1.0.14736 appears to have fixed the "crash at start-up" problem ... I'm actually a bit surprised ...

On October, 6th I downloaded version 1.014533_(64bit)_(50411) over HOURS!

Now I got the message that a new patch is out from version 1.0.14717 to 1.0.14736?! Why did I then download version 1.014533? I tried to install this new patch over the game and certainly got the error message, that would not be for my version.

Where is patch 1.014533 to 1.014717 or patch 1.014533 to 1.0.14736?

Meanwhile, without the install files, how do I know, which version is installed? Usually this information is shown in the starting menu. I couldn't find anything and I had a look in the game folder, too. Have I overlooked anything?

Second trial: in case of deleted download files after the installation, where can I find the information about the actual version of the installed game?

Anywhere in the installed minimum 10 GB folder or recommended 20 GB folder of a 31.3 GB download (offer information status October, 9th)? Professional gaming products place it in the starting menu, e.g, or have a special menu entry. Have I overlooked anything? Or do I have to break clear/unlock this information in the game as a reward?

Hi. If you downloaded the installation files on Oct 6th, then the version of your game is the one you already mentioned: 1.041533. I don't know where in the game files you can find this number displayed.

But getting the game to display that number won't help. The only patch that's being offered for download is for a higher version and will not work on the one that was offered on Oct. 6th, as you've already seen.

I think your best option is to re-download the current version and install it over what you currently have installed (no need to uninstall first), which is what I did. This will effectively "patch" your game. Another option would be to alert GOG Customer Support of the missing download and hope for the the best.

Can you see the patch notes?Mine are fully greyed out and i have uninstalled and installed the game like four times already with no luck whatsoever in seeing this notes.

Where are you seeing grayed out patch notes?

If you're installing over GOG's Galaxy client, I would expect that you're always getting the newest version.

But anyways if what you say is right i am supposed to be runing 1.0.14736 as i download it from the client just yesterday but what bothers me is the greyed out patch notes.

I don't use the client, so I'm no authority on this. Perhaps it's grayed out because your version is already up-to-date, so the most recent patch doesn't apply ...? Maybe check some patch notes for your other games...

My guess would be that you're running the current version.

Madmind Studio has not added any patch notes to GOG, so they can not be displayed. I think thats the reason why it's greyed out.

ALAKAZAM1: After installing the first offline version of succubus 1.014533_(64bit)_(50411), I got an microsoft error message starting succubus. I googled and downloaded Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2019 redistributable (x64) again directly from a microsoft internet page. After installing that I could start succubus.

They don't sell a l lot of games with sexual content anymore in the german market. I suppose succubus will have the same fate.
