From what I've seen-through videos and screens-the game looks kinda complex. Is this game accessible to a player who hasn't played lot of complex PC sims?

It's not that complex from what I remember - similar to Wing Commander and the like. It's pretty hard though.

Compared to advanced simulator games, this is child's play control wise. Basically: Radar, control stick, fire weapon. It is a little more than that, but you get my point. As the other poster said: easy controls, hard game.
