The game is optimized in terms of FPS, but because it's UE5, it will make even great CPU's run very hot while compiling shaders.
Also, it seems with all these UE5 games, my 5700X3D chip, even with a top of the line air cooler (Peerless Assassin) still runs around 65 degrees C. Which isn't terrible compared to older gen chips like Bulldozer, but it's pretty toasty compared to most games I play.
You definitely want to let it situate itself when you first load in. Give it 5-10 seconds to catch up, and then your CPU will cool off a few degrees.
Also, when it compiles the first time, it WILL run super toasty. This is normal for UE5.
