Greetings all,

I've been playing SHC HD now for a while - The regular version. Just today I noticed the "Extreme" Version also in my folder. I opened it up, saw that it did indeed have "Extreme" on the title screen, so flipped over to the web to find out what the difference is. Once I read up on it, I decided that I didn't want to mess with it and just quit the program.

Flipped back over and started my regular HD version. I'm on Mission 15 of the campaign, Lions Mane. Saved at the very beggining. So then I start to play, and with every HOME, or WOOD CUTTER, or anything I place - I get new units. Without any barracks or armory yet it is giving me Calvary and Soldier and lots of archers, which looks to me like something EXTREME does.

So I thought maybe I opened the wrong one, double checked, nope, regular version. Then I swtiched to Mission 14 save to see if it was doing it, and it does not appear to. Went back to my 15 save - i did it, restated mission from menu, still does it. So I'm not sure if somehow my regular HD version is getting something crossed with the extreme version, or if Mission Lions Mane - is different from all the other missions I've played and DOES give you free units...

Any thoughts?

***** UPDATE ******

I just went and watched a video of someone playing this level, it appears they DO get the free units - funny, it's never given me this many before - so maybe it is normal, just an odd coincidence...

Yes in some missions you get some units.
The historical campaign has the sane. The Extra version of SHC however has a different system for this, which in my opinion completely removed the need for the economical part of the gameplay (in I way I totally dislike)
