So, having got through the original Stronghold almost entirely by myself I have finally completed the HD version with a lot of help from the net. I would like to eventually replay some of the scenarios, which is not currently a problem. But suppose at some point I have to e.g. get a new PC? What files do I need to save/backup so that all 21 scenarios would still be available for me to choose from on a new PC? Can anyone tell me what exactly I need to backup onto DVD? Thanks.

Hi! The progress in your campaign is saved on this folder:

C:\Users\[USERNAME]\Documents\Stronghold\Saves

The .sco files keep your progress (one per scenario) and if you have any savefiles (.sav) they will be there as well. You can paste them on the same location in your new PC.

Thank you so much for replying. (Especially given that I did give my post what I quickly, but not quickly enough, realised was a silly and misleading title!) It was good of you to take the time and I appreciate it.
