I bought game today(free giveaway)and now i am asking if anyone knows how can i play multiplayer with my friends i was tring but nothing

Through anything that can emulate a LAN connection (Hamachi, Evolve, Tunngle...)

i was thinking that this program was working like steam and origin,or maybe because this game is old i need programs like Hamachi,gameranger ...?

The point is that you can only play these games through LAN. Period.

Not true. That goes only for a limited set of games. Stronghold HD and Stronghold Crusader HD are not among them, neither here nor on Steam.

i see on GoG website its possible to connect your steam account with GOG account does that means somehow i can connect my stronghold with steam?

Why didn't you read the GOG Connect page in entirety?

GOG Connect only connects the games from your Steam account to GOG (not the other way around), and only the ones that are listed. The list changes with each time the GOG Connect option appears. Stronghold is currently not on the list, so you can't connect it right now.

You need to use GameRanger in order to play online. Make no mistake, the Steam version also requires GameRanger. Both GoG and Steam do not provide multiplayer services for this game.

i bought the mac version of Stronghold Crusader HD and tried to play it online via Gameranger, but there is no "Stronghold Crusader (HD") in the list of games, that gameranger offers to host, i just can find "Stronghold". I saw plenty of videos people playing and hosting stronghold crusader (HD) games in gameranger. can anyone tell me why the games does not show up in the game list? anyone experienced the same problem?

Would love to play the game online!
