Hi, I wanted to start playing, but it requires direct play. I clicked on install the feature, and I get the alert that the installation was successful. But every time I start Stronghold HD, it shows the "need direct play" altert again and then quits, no matter how often I clicked "install" already

You can enable this component on Win11 in appwiz.cpl under the "Legacy Options".
