When I run this program I am getting a blank screen with sound and after a while a few small blue ovals to one side of the screen, I can only assume my graphics card does not meet the requirements for the game.
However, my system does seem to just meet the minimum requirements stated by gog shown below with a comparison of my system.
Minimum system requirements: Windows Vista / 7 / 8 **** (Windows Vista 32 bit)
2.4 GHz dual core processor (Quad core recommended) **** (2.83gz quad core)
4 GB RAM (8 GB RAM recommended) **** (4GB Ram DDR 1333mz - I realize that 32 bit will not have access to the full 4 GB and feel GOG should have specified 64 bit O/S if that is the only option for the game to run for those who do not realize or, like me, don't always think things through logically)
Nvidia 250 GTS or ATI Radeon 4800 series 3D graphics card compatible with DirectX 10 (Nvidia GTX 560 or ATI Radeon HD5850 recommended) ****(Nvidia GeForce 280GTX 1 gig - this card will run Dx10 but I do not think it will run Dx11)
DirectX 11 installed ****( DirectX 11 installed)
3 GB HD space, mouse, keyboard, 5.1 sound card **** (Creative sounsblaster X-Fi)
All drivers and service packs are up to date.
However, on some other sites I have looked at for minimum operating specs they call for 64bit O/S and / or a directX 11 capable video card.
As it is now 4 years old and no longer high end I have no issues with upgrading my system if that is the problem but, as far as I can tell I am already just meeting the minimum running requirements.
I have tried installing and running as Administrator with UAC and all virus and firewall off.
Any suggestions would be appreciated
