I'm playing this on baby rookie la-la land settings and IF I see the enemy plane, I see it for a moment, then it's gone.

Basically, my dog fighting looks like I'm stuck fling in circles, because the other planes NEVER EVER stop flying left or right. It's like NASCAR, always going in circles and it's frustrating that no missiles hit, no bullets hit, and I'm flying at the speed of a goddamn bicycle in the hopes that my plane turns 0,00001% faster than the ones I'm following! Jesus Christ, somebody HELP me! What the hell are you supposed to do?

A decade later, another try, same issues. It's like I am returning to something I *wished* I could play, once in a decade, only to find it's just completely unplayable.

Mouse controls are erratic and too quick. Joystick controls are weird and I don't even know if they're supposed to be as overly sensitive and then crap out on you like that. The virtual cockpit is the only way I find any other plane visually, and the second I stop using it to turn the plane around I never find them again. The radar is completely useless. I don't see a friend/foe indicator. I can't follow an enemy plane at all, or know if it IS an enemy plane. Pressing T for targeting something does jack-all.

This game clearly doesn't want me to play it.
