I saw the gamepad is disabled in dosbox.conf, i tried to put it as "auto" but i cannot assign all the buttons on it, either with the in-game remapping or the dosbox remapping. I feel like the game applies some keys to it as it detects the gamepad and then the dosbox remapping doesn't work properly (?)

Did anybody have success?

Also i'm used to the Snes version and i'm pretty sure every button was separate, with LB RB to punch, in this PC version it seems the left punch is the same button than boost, and right punch the same button than a punch skill. And i think we need to release (?) the accelerate button to use the second function. (at least it's what i found so far)

Hi Kafkaa,

Do you have X-input / Direct Input switch on the controller? It helped me couple of times with some other games before, but I can't try it with Street Racer cause I don't have any controllers now.

Speaking in general, I suppose this game uses somewhat modified dosbox: usually shortcut leads to *.bat to launch the dosbox and then the game in it, but in this case the shortcut is created for dosbox.exe itself.
I usually do change default value for the available RAM amount to 256 MBytes and I did it here. But dosbox status window reports that possible values are max 63 Mbytes and reverts default 16 MBytes.
So that might be somehow tricky to tune the game via dosbox.
I do have a button that i don't know what it is for (?), but it didn't change the behavior.

However i realized the mapping is ok for me (i've changed gamepad, so maybe it's what fixed it for me), so i don't need to remap anymore (though remapping is still broken).
