Installing SC in WINE on my iMac works fine, but trying to launch it (running wine sc/SC.exe) (or trying to launch the campaign editor) just brings up a dialog saying there are corrupt files and then the game quits. Anyone happens to know a workaround (other than playing on my Vista laptop)?

Looking at the WINE database SC has been reported to work several times, and already in very old versions of WINE, but I guess the changes gog made to make the game run on more modern versions of Windows may have caused problems for WINE.

Hi, I managed to get it partially working (certain dialogs get obscured) under CodeWeavers' Cross Over Games under Linux. Not sure about Mac but they use new versions of WINE in their builds. You may want to check it out under the compatibility section. I wrote a simple step by step tips on how to configure it I think.

Thanks! I will wait and try again on some newer version of WINE. Played the game for a few hours in Vista and I will probably want to play it again, but not right now.
