I've played it for a few hours now and it's an underwhelming port. Virtually no graphics options outside of resolution and trying to play on 16:9 aspect ratio or higher will cause the camera to "zoom in", effectively reducing your field of view, with no way to address this outside of fixers, which only work on version 1.0 of the game, so that solution's out of the window. I even tried changing the values on the game's config files and that didn't work either; in fact, game simply wouldn't run even after I restored the default values. On top of this, the mouse sensitivity is absolutely dreadful even when you drop the settings all the way down -- the slightest twitch of your mouse will cause the camera to move to quickly for you to land good shots.
It's sloppy, and honestly I regret buying it. If there's no fix to be found anywhere, I'll either find a torrent for the 1.0 version or just get a used copy on the PS3. Even then, this is still a pretty lackluster game that tries too hard to be the next Max Payne, much like other crappy shooters like Dead to Rights. At least it's inspired by a really good movie.
it works fine on my WIndows 7 PC. it's still advised to use the FOV fix that's inthe sticky thread as it greatly improves the resoution and FOV issues.

Hi, I am really struggling to get the FOV fix on the sticky thread to work. Can you give me step by step instructions?

Thank you so much for your help, but it still doesn't work for me!

This is what I'm doing step by step, can you let me know please if I'm doing anything wrong? (I've also tried restarting these steps after verifing and repairing the game via the GoG menu):

- I've gone to the PC Gaming Wiki link you gave and downloaded the folder 'Stranglehold GOG FOV'.

- That folder has two files in its root directory, 'dinput8.dll' and 'Settings'. There is a further folder, 'patches', which has as third file inside, 'main.patch'.

- I've copied all three of these files to the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games\Stranglehold\Binaries, overwriting if asked to.

- I've started to play Stranglehold, making sure first that Overlay does not have Access GOG Galaxy features in-game ticked.

I have no new resolutions in the main Settings menu (max is still 1920x1080). Then I begin a new game, with Tequila standing there in the street, and even though I've rebound the keys using the key code values in your link, having opened main.patch within the Binaries folder using Notepad++, nothing happens when I press them (like nothing happened with I had pressed F5 or F6).

Please can you help? I'd really appreciate it, as I'm desperate to make this game playable and am becoming so frustrated!

Thank you :-)
