Hey, I'm pretty sure my games contrast is absolutely fucked or somethings cause in ep 2 i can barely see any of the equipment and the sides of the screen are very dark too.

Sorry to hear this is happenning. There is nothing I can think of bar the obvious and I am sure you would have tried all your video card settings manually already.

There are no in game tweaks I could find either, only on the launcher. I really hope you find the solution. I had a scout around and could not find reports of the same problem either so I am at a loss I fear. :(
On chapter 4 I had the same problems too, after playing the previous chapters with no problems. What I found was that at any resolution other than 1920x1080 the contrast dimmed to almost dark. I only was fiddling with the different contrasts due to increased stuttering, jagged edges and lag in movement scenes. I decided to continue to play at that resolution and bear with the frame rate issue but about midway my char walked thru a wall and got stuck out of bounds. Restarting the game saw the chapter reset to beginning.

not a clue what the problem is but they had issued a patch in march to address performance issues, they may have broken some graphic cards instead.

Hello,

I found the same happened with me. The contrast settings rendered the game unplayable unless the resolution is set to native (that happens to be the max res of my screen).

Native resolution solves the contrast, but as per your experience, the movement scenes drop to around 4 frames/second.

I'll send an email to the support contact you have in your post.
they responded quickly to my email and I appreciated that personal touch. I thought there had been an update since I posted but if you just encountered the problem it may not have been addressed yet. i use AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series card btw
It's an old thread but I'll chime in with something I noticed trying to get the demo running acceptably on my aging laptop. Changing from 1600x900, to 1280x768 the graphics got VERY dark.

If your pc can handle it and things are too dark, try cranking up the resolution.
