How do I know which version I need?
This question / problem has been solved by Leuciusimage
I wish I knew! I have three options:

1 -
Stories Untold 1.12 610 MB

2 -
1.12 part 1 of 2 (64-bit) 10331 -> 10902 1 MB
1.12 part 2 of 2 (64-bit) 10331 -> 10902 666 MB

3 -
Stories Untold 32-bit version 608 MB

So one is 64 bit, one is 32 bit, and one doesn't tell you if it is 64 or 32 bit; one is v. 1.12; another is version 1.12; another doesn't tell you what version it is. I guess I need one of the first two versions, but there's no way of knowing which, or what the difference between them is.

I'm not sure if I'm understanding your question but I will try to answer it.

Typically you only need a 32 bit executable if you're running a 32 bit Operating System, such as Windows XP (Or older) or 32bit Vista/7/8/10 - You can find out which type of OS you are using by typing "System" in the search bar - it should pop up with "System" or "System Information" - one of the two - and it will list if you are running a 32 bit or 64 bit OS.

Typically, if you have a 64 bit OS, you almost always want the 64 bit version, because it utilizes the operating system better, allows more RAM usage, etc.

Hope this helps, and sorry it took so long for someone to respond.

EDIT: When you type "system" into the search bar, make sure it's the search bar for your Windows, and NOT Internet Explorer/Chrome/FireFox.

.Stories Untold is the 64 bit version of the 1.12 version of the game.
.Parts 1 and 2 of the 64 bit version, is basically the patch in case you have an older version installed.
.32 bit version is 32 bit version.

Downloaded every file yesterday to try and discover what to install...
